　葛娜莎(Sandra Corveloni饰)是位单身母亲，从事按摩治疗师职业，同两个孩子一起生活。一次去看医生，格拉莎被诊断患有脑动脉瘤，随时都有可能破裂。面对死亡的步步逼近，她极度担忧自己两个孩子无人照顾，于是决定去找自己的弟弟路易斯。 　　15年前的一次争吵之后，姐弟俩便再无往来。可当他们再次见面时，弟弟路易斯却成了一个名叫格劳娅(Carolina Ferraz饰)的变装女郎，并且是家餐厅的老板。一开始，格劳娅极不情愿再和家人有任何瓜葛。但出于愧疚，她还是接受了姐姐葛娜莎的邀请，去看望自己的侄子和侄女。最终她意识到也许自己可以成为一名母亲。
