ณ ถนนริมท้องทุ่งนาแห้งแล้งห่างไกลความเจริญ มีปั๊มน้ํามันเล็กๆเป็นปั๊มน้ํามันเดียวที่มีอยู่ในละแวกนี้ที่นี่มีเจ้าของปั้มเป็นชายหนุ่มหล่อในชุดคาวบอยชื่อ มั่น เขาอาศัยอยู่คนเดียวเพื่อรอคอยคนรัก ซึ่งหลังจากแต่งงานได้ไม่นานนกก็หายตัวไปอย่างไร้ร่องรอยมั่นเฝ้ารอนกทุกวันด้วยความหวังว่าเธอจะกลับมาแม้เวลาจะผ่านไปปีแล้วปีเล่าก็ตาม ในระหว่างนั้นก็มีเจ๊มัท สาวใหญ่ในชุดไทยสีแดงสดนางเป็นแม่ค้าขับรถพุ่มพวงขายของชําอยู่ในหมู่บ้านที่เทียวมาหามั่น เอาข้าวเอาน้ําเอาของใช้ต่างๆมาให้เขาอยู่เสมอ และก็มีฝน เด็กสาวม.ต้นอายุ 15 ปี ในชุดเจ้าหญิงดิสนี่ย์ที่มักจะขี่มอเตอร์ไซค์มาที่ปั๊ม เธอชอบมานั่งเล่าว่ามีใครเรียนอยู่ห้องไหนมาจีบเธอบ้างถึงแม้มั่นจะไม่สนใจแต่เธอก็เล่าของเธอไป เหนื่อยก็ขี่รถกลับบ้าน ทั้งหมดก็ใช้ชีวิตประจําวันแบบนี้ไปเรื่อยๆ
