Fascinujúci príbeh portrétu Irene Cahen d'Anvers "Dievča s modrou stuhou", ktorý sa dostal do Göringovej zbierky... Príbeh obrazu sa začal zle hneď po jeho vzniku v roku 1880. Portrét svojej dcéry, ktorý sa stal známy ako "Malá Irena" alebo "Dievča s modrou stuhou", si u Renoira objednal známy bankár gróf Louis Cahen d'Anvers. Výsledok sa mu však tak nepáčil, že si ho ani nepovesil na stenu. Osud nechceného plátna potom odzrkadľoval pohnutý osud Iréne, až sa počas druhej svetovej vojny stalo súčasťou Göringovej zbierky. O jeho znovuobjavenie sa zaslúžila francúzska kurátorka Rose Vallandová, ktorej informácie boli mimoriadne cenné hneď po vojne, keď majitelia začali pátrať po svojich dielach.
