L’incompiuta è la storia di Louise, una pianista di 45 anni, con un passato travagliato dal dramma della prematura perdita del padre. L’uomo, in un atto di follia estrema, si suicida per l’insuccesso personale nel terminare la propria opera per pianoforte. Louise cresce vivendo il dramma del padre e l’allontanamento precoce della madre come un’ossessione legata all’opera incompiuta. Louise un giorno si confronterà con tre giovani adolescenti durante una sua lezione di pianoforte, in un ambiente grottesco e surreale darà sfogo alle proprie pulsioni inibite. Louise infine comprenderà il suo delirio esistenziale, decidendo di concludere l’opera del padre.
