Sebastian James ist tagsüber Kurier, nachts DJ. Als er es eines Tages versäumt, ein wichtiges Paket für seinen Boss, den PR-Guru Julian Gold, abzugeben, findet sich Seb plötzlich als Schachfigur in einem Machtspiel mit einem saudischen Prinzen wieder, während die saudische Regierung versucht, die Währung für den Ölhandel zu ändern. Als Seb sich in die Tochter des Prinzen verliebt, werden er und seine Freunde noch tiefer in den Konflikt verwickelt. Während seines Kampfes werden die dunklen Mächte, die in Washington, DC (dem mondernen Babylon) wirken, enthüllt und die Achillesferse des amerikanischen Empires offengelegt.
